Mika Meyers’ Litigation Group Grows with the Addition of Brendan P. Karl as a Member

Mika Meyers is pleased to announce that Brendan P. Karl has joined the firm as a member, and he will be working in the Grand Rapids office.  Brendan is an experienced litigator and has represented clients in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.  His areas of practice include:  appellate law, commercial litigation, constitutional law and civil rights, election law, probate litigation, landlord tenant, and real estate litigation.

After attending law school, Brendan served as an attorney and officer in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps.  In addition to prosecuting courts martial, leading a civil law section, and advising on contract matters, he was deployed and provided legal support to the commander of a joint information warfare task force.  He was also appointed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri.

Brendan is an active member of his local community, where he resides with his wife and three children.
