Jeffrey M. Black

Attorney Grand Rapids, MI

I enjoy helping individuals navigate their way through the law and the legal system in a down-to-earth manner in the areas of estate and trust planning, probate and trust administration, business and commercial law, and real estate law.   I began my legal career gaining valuable experience as a full-time law clerk in the Kent County Circuit Court for several years.

I am a Grand Rapids native and now live in Byron Center with my wife and two children.  In the fall I suffer through the University of Michigan’s football season, especially on the last day of the regular season (Yes, even despite recent success. Make sure to ask me about The Game in 2024!).  My three favorite bands are listed in the Most Hated Rock Bands of All Time.  (Can you figure out which three bands they are?)
