Curtis L. Underwood

Attorney
Grand Rapids, MI

Behind the miles of small black text, the law is about the relationships between people, governments, and businesses.  It’s a tool to help our businesses, families, and communities function safely and with definition that allows better cooperation. As such, in my practice, I endeavor to build trustworthy client-relationships, build legal relationships that are well-considered and sturdy, and solve problems.

My practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, entity formation, real estate litigation, and shareholder issues and disputes.  In these areas, I seek to aid my clients in defining their legal roles and relationships with good planning, counsel, and, when necessary, appropriate recourse.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, traveling, rock-climbing, and reading.  I grew up in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area and enjoy staying connected in the community with friends and family.
